Step 1

Discover more about the initiative

United album

The initiative concept involves producing an electronic dance music album to promote and support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Each of the album’s 17 songs represent one of the issues outlined in the United Nations’ Agenda 2030, using a combination of vocals and sounds. Featuring unreleased songs from artists worldwide, proceeds from the album are donated to a nonprofit organization each edition, supporting wonderful charity initiatives.

Step 2

Discover more about the
Sustainable Development Goals

What are the SDGs?

The Sustainable Development Goals are a collection of 17 interlinked global goals set forth by the United Nations in 2015, aiming to address the world’s most pressing challenges by 2030. In United’s album, each song narrates a different SDG through different artist’s vision.

Step 3

Understand the connection among music and SDGs within the album

How songs are related to SDGs?

After selecting their Sustainable Development Goal, each artist is assigned the challenge of conveying their narrative using sounds and voices. Creativity knows no bounds, artists are free to explore any genre within the realm of electronic dance music. If you need inspiration, listen to previous editions which were also guided by the SDGs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it possible to submit a track that has already been released for the album?

No, as 'United' features exclusively new, unreleased music inspired by the SDGs, previous releases cannot be included.

Do the songs on the album have to be related to SDGs?

Yes, they must convey the message through voices and sounds.

Is it possible for me to involve other artists in the album?

As long as the artist meets our standards and there is space within the album, it could be done. Any artists excluded from the album, limited to 17 slots, can still be included as official remixers for some of the released songs, subject to agreement with the labels. If you have any artists you'd like to suggest, please send us an email at info@unitedbymusicforcharity.com

What if the song I submit doesn't align with United or partner labels' preferences?

it is possible that the song may be rejected. Although this is a remote possibility it may be beneficial to often share updates regarding your song with our team rather than sending the full song close to the deadline. We are always available to listen your demos at info@unitedbymusicforcharity.com

Which label(s) will release the album?

Upon completion of the album, we'll present it to numerous labels within the electronic dance music scene. The selection of the label(s) for the album release will be determined by factors including the artists involved, the album's performance, and the interest expressed by the labels.

On which platforms will the album be available?

The album will be available on all major digital music platforms.

Which non-profit organization will receive the donated funds?

After the album is completed, the non-profit organization will be selected in collaboration with the label(s) and partners. You're welcome to suggest a non-profit organization by emailing info@unitedbymusicforcharity.com.

Will proof of donations be provided?

Absolutely! Proof of donations will be publicly shared, ensuring full transparency.

What are the steps to take if I no longer want to be part of the initiative?

We are sorry to see you go! If there is nothing we can do to change your mind, please email us at info@unitedbymusicforcharity.com. It's important to note that once you've committed to the initiative, especially close to the album's release, it's crucial not to withdraw to avoid potential harm to the organization, the artists, and the parties involved.
